Adult Bible Study Groups
Summer Bible Study Continues at Hain’s!
Ever wonder about the meaning of certain Bible passages? There are two Bible Studies for you to consider this summer! We meet on Thursdays at 10am and we are currently discovering the spiritual insights found in Genesis. The Sunday morning Bible Study starts at 8:15am and we are currently exploring the letter to the Ephesians. Both Bible Studies meet in the Conference Room. Join Pastor Mark and other Hain’s members and friends who want to grow in their understanding of Bible and what it means to be followers of Christ!
Weekday Bible Study
We have a group of 12 people who meet on Thursdays 10:00 am - 11:00 am for bible study. You are welcome to join us. Come when your schedule allows.
ECL (Exploring Christian Life) Adult Bible Study
This small group enjoys an informal atmosphere with conversation and coffee in the Conference room located on the 2nd level of the Sunday School building from 8:15am – 9:15am on Sunday mornings. Several adults take turns teaching and leading discussions.
Unlike Sunday School classes that use lectionary based teaching tools, this group used a variety of materials on contemporary topics prepared by professors from Lancaster Theological Seminary, popular authors like Max Lucado and Philip Yancey, or other books, articles and films found to be relevant to our spiritual growth. We believe faith formation is a life long process. Many who attend this class are involved in other activities on Sunday mornings and feel comfortable attending when they can. All are invited to attend.
